But to own a pair of Pazzion at the age of 8 is not lovely at all! Hahaha!!

KM #230 - Finally...

we can take a lil break away from the house reno.
Being super busy especially this week with fixtures shopping for our home.
Been to HDB Hub thrice this week for a Gas Heater Roadshow by City Gas, lighting shopping, 1/2 day taken on Thursday to shop for kitchen appliances and bathroom accessories.
At least we managed to buy up all the stuffs which Ken requires and his schedule will not be delayed by us. It is really pretty stressful as we do not wish to bring inconvenience to him but on the other hand, we do wish to be "carrot" and let people chop.
But so far, it has being pretty good and we are still quite wise in budgeting!
Hahahaha!!
We had also collected our lights on Thursday, save up the delivery $$.
Besides the interior design, lighting plays a part and can make a difference too.

I cannot wait for all the lights to be put up but seriously, I cannot remember what have I bought too. oOps!!
We are already going into the 3rd week of the reno, work should be completed in another 3 more weeks!
So excited that we are getting closer and closer to OUR HOME!

Next in my To-Do list is to choose the paint colors and wedding preps stuffs.

KM #207 - Service

is EVERYTHING!

Just came back from birthday dinner @ Melt The World Cafe and got utterly disappointed by their service. Initially, all of us thought we made the right choice in choosing this over TODAI but apparently we were wrong. The service and flexibility of their staffs is really poor to the max and super power in playing tai-ji.

Issue no. 1

We had 4 birthday peeps in the house and they only gave us 1 pathetic small cake. When we told them that we are celebrating for 4, they claimed that we did not inform them beforehand while making the reservation so they only had 1 cake for us. We let the matter go, because we din wanna feel like we are so cheapo over their cake. But then... I felt that they should initiate to give us another cake. Manager appeared and all he did was explained himself on behalf of the management and staffs by saying that it was a TOTAL MISUNDERSTANDING and MISCOMMUNICATION!

How much does a cake cost when we are paying almost like $90 for your dinner?!

Issue no. 2

We had saw online that they are currently having this BUY 4 GET 1 FREE promo but NOT AWARE that only 1 UOB card is entitle to 1 free pax.
When we pay the bill, the farker Indian waiter just say this, "YOU GIVE ME 3 UOB CARDS, I GIVE U 3 PAX FREE!"

Hello!! Is this the way you talk to a customer?!
All of us were stunned and this is where mouth war starts.
Initially I told him nicely that we were not aware of this, he replied me firmly that we were being informed accordingly and it was definitely stated in the webbie, it was our own mistake.
Hello!!! If it was really stated and we are aware, do you think we will be that cheapo to do sucha thing?! I stood firm and argued my way, gradually his voice started to raise and IMPATIENCE and "TRYING-TO-PICK-A-FIGHT"-look expression appears!
Naturally, I raised mine too till the manager appears.
Yahh... we tried to reason with the manager and alrite, least he still did help us in the bill but then again explained the same old stuffs  - MISUNDERSTANDING and MISCOMMUNICATION!

WTF!!

So this are they so-called FOREIGN TALENTS? And who's the 1st in priority?!
Your customers or your staffs???! I am confused!
 Seriously, we do not how to appreciate their talent lorx! Fucker!! Really pissed me off the max with that fcuking look of his!!!

I will never ever step into Melt AGAIN!
So what if you are rated 1 of the TOP 10 Buffets in Sg, your service sucks to the core!!
They should just go and melt themselves esp that fcuker Indian!!

It has been a crazy week at work but that is only the beginning. I really hate budgeting periods, it just drives us crazy especially with the super rush dateline. After that, is checking of figures and have to answer WHY?! How do I know why when all expenses are actual?! Spent lesser / within the budget also cannot, overspent also cannot. Does perfect budget really exist?!

Alrite, enough of work.

2 pieces of happie news to share.... ~

1. Reno will offically start this coming Monday.
OMG!!!
Soooo damn excited to see the outcome of our pad and cant wait for all of our loved 1s to hang out w/ us over at our pad over the weekends.
Steamboating sounds cool, huh?!
Rabb and I had saw a sofa we liked last weekend at some newly opened furniture shop. We nearly placed deposit for it because it was a love at 1st with a pretty reasonable price and we felt it really matches the theme of our love-nest but lotsa "what-if"  flows into our mind.

Most important WHAT -IF: "What if the shops close down?!"

We decided to drop the idea and self-consoled that we can get a better 1 and we will get a better 1!
Feels better this way!

2. Wedding bells will be ringing (real) soon.

Rabb and I had finally got our a** down in planning for the wedding.

We've got the date and also got the venue booked.
Next in line is to search for a BS and also recruitment of jie-meis!

Another "headache" thingy is the theme of the venue.
I am torn between 2 themes and still seriously giving both themes a thot.

Now ET and I have lately practised that we should not be too happy when things aint finalize, we should learn to be humble!

Okie, off to my dreamland now.
Needa wake up earlier than usual weekday timing later because mummy will be leaving for BKK for work-trip.
