KM #41.2 - Bad Service

I can at least still unwillingly slightly tolerate SLOW service because its SLOW, but definitely not POOR BAD + SLOW service.

For example, earlier today I was q-ing for a drink at Ion. I was given a Q-no and waited for quite awhile already, BUT others whom came after me all gotten their drinks except for me. Then, what is the Q-number for?! The service staff can somemore to tell me to wait for another 5-10 minutes for my drink because they have to prepare and make. At least have the courtesy to apologise for the waiting and for the sake of apologising larx... ... dunno!
I will not patronise dunno simi HAPPY LEMON again! And pls do not bull-shit on your crap "Happy Everyday" motto and your kawaii icon because you do not know how to make your customers happy.

KM #41

There goes my LONG weekends, dammn sianz bcos it's Monday; BACK-TO-WORK-TOMORROW. But at least, quality time was well-spent with mummy and Rabb. Mum and I had been shopping crazily since Thursday like there is no tomorrow! All thanks to GSS!!We just could not stop buying and buying and buying. We went town (again) earlier this afternoon, initially was just to have tea and look for my maxi-dress but we ended up stuck in both M)Phosis 313 and Ion. We manged to kio quite abit from both branches and are truly satisfied with our buys! =D
p/s: I really need SOS for money-saving!!!

We had a very interesting encounter with the taxi-uncle when we were on our way to 313. At the traffic junction of KPO, he suddenly said to drop us somewhere near Orchard Central carpark because there is "construction going on"(?!) and he really did. Its like indirectly being chased out by the uncle and we have to walked quite a distance to 313 under the bright scorching sun Then mummy was like, "Why do I have to cab when I still needa walk?!" Duuhhh!!! So was it my bad for not saying is 313 Somerset SHOPPING CENTRE or the uncle is not updated enough?!

p/s: I wanna buy the Gatsby facial wash for Rabb, so he can become Takuya Kimura too! Hoho!!!

KM #40 - Big Spender

Since both mummy and I were on AL today and its being a long time since we last went shopping, we decided to go town yum-cha and SHOPPING (it's TAKA CARD DAY too)!! Hear raves about I-Canton frm aunts, so decided to give it a try. It is actually a fusion Cantonese cuisine. The moment we stepped in, the friendly old manager came was sending his customers out but he was speaking in Teochew to him. The common question was being popped by Mummy again, "Thot this is a Cantonese restaurant, but why is he speaking Teochew?" Haha!!

Anyway, I heart the decor of the restaurant because... ..

1) It is white and pink in colors!

2) The decors are very cheena!!

3) It has cute dinnerware!

The food is good too.. ..! Mummy said to bring the 3 men along the next time so that we can order more to try.

-The bao looks cute, rite??!! Mummy couldnt bear to eat it. And yahh.. if you had watched the 9pm Channel 8 drama, they had ate these too.-

- This is the 1st soup wonton noodle that I got no complains at all!! There is no "kan sui mei" (noodle smell) at all. Mad loving it!! The soup is super tasty and fresh because of the shrimps wonton.-

-Ting and mine All-TIME Fave; XO Sauce carrot cake. I dunno why it seems to be a MUST-HAVE whenever I sees it in any menu. Mummy find its too oily but taste is YUMMY!-

- (FRESH)Jumbo shrimps and Chives "Cheong Fun". It is freshly made and the sauce will only be added upon serving to you. -

- Signature egg-tarts.-

-The best of 2 world - Black Glutinous Rice and Durian with crushed Coconut ice-

Yummy to the max!!

After delicious food, it's shopping time because its PAYCHECK DAY!

And we ended up having these shopping bags... ...

It's a (early) birthday present from mummy and also a reward to myself.

 Thank you, mum!!

Dumpling festive is round the corner, ya?! Crystal Jade had this range of "dessert dumplings" so we decided to buy a few to try. And.. do I really have the "BLUR" word written on my face? While waiting for payment, the auntie suddenly look up and told me in a gan cheong manner, "Xiao Mei!! Dun put these to steam hor!!! It meant to be taken as a dessert... so you dun put the dumpling to steam hor??!! Remember ahh..!!" 

Ha! What a cute auntie! 

But seriously, if she had not tell us, maybe mummy will really put it into the steamer.

Most of the times, it WILL ALWAYS ONLY BE a 1-SIDED STORY.

KM #38

We had a "Oh-it-gone-so bad" Saturdate.
It was NEARLY perfect initially when Rabb said he's bringing me for Popeyes'. I was the happiest girl on earth because he never likes Popeyes and he initiated to bring me there!!!
BUT................................................. if only we have parked at MS, we would not have wasted nearly $5 of carpark fees when we did not even park or spent more than 2 hours in the carpark. And the Popeye's @ Flyers is god-damnn good biz lorx. The whole Popeye's is CROWDED!

But what has the Popeyes' gotta do with carpark?! Abit no link hor.. .. anyway, its a pretty long storyy larx. Dun wanna "ah ji ah zhou" here.

Finally, he decided to go to Funan IT Mall to patronise his friend whose working in an Jap restaurant. But well.... the saying is true that a couple tends to influence each other after being together for long.

Rabb did a "VERY-ME!" thing! We settled down in the restaurant, tea already being served to us, browsing thru the menu and he felt that its not what he feels like having for dinner, so we stood up and leave. LOL!!! This doing is SOOOOOOOOOOO ME!!! This is 1 thing which Rabb really hates but oh-well.......... ~I'm prouda you, darling!! Hoho!!

Anyway, after much time wasted, we finally settled down in a Ramen shop.

Truly satisfied dinner!!

Total bill only $40.. cheap what! And the food is not bad too, it worth our 2nd time.

I wanna bring the rest there somedays.

Immediately after dinner, "死" Ivan called Rabb to jio us down Sabai to help him finish his bottle. We thot why not as its been a long time since we last went down to Sabai. But yahh... it turned out to be my FAREWELL NITE for Sabai because I will never wanna go back again! Its a GHOST CLUB and its fcuking BORING!! All the singers we know have either gone back or left. Had a emo nite... .. time is so hard to past when the club is boring!

Okie.. .. off to bed now! 2 more working days for this week! Weeeeeeeeeeee!!

KM# 37 - Moon Lovers

PLOT: Rensuke (Kimura) has become a major force in Japanese interior design with a policy of trying to please as many consumers as possible. He built his furniture empire from scratch, and now has his sights set on China.
He plans to build his first overseas Regolith furniture store in Shanghai, but construction is being held up by local demonstrators who claim that the opening of the new store means the closing of factories that employ them. Rensuke has asked his old schoolmate, Maemi (Ryoko Shinohara), to do the interior design for the new store, and the two of them travel to the site and meet with a representative of the factory workers, a woman named Shumei (Lin Chiling). It's a meeting that changes the lives of all three participants.

Once again, Takuya Kimura's charm is sooooooooooooooo irresistible!! I had watched 2 epsiodes already and cant wait for more... ...

If is not for M1 Sunperk voucher, I guess I will not step into Haagen Dazs and will not even know that they actually have such interesting ice-cream creation.

Well, I am truly satisfy and contented with my Azabu Sabo "Chocolate Banana" ice-cream and so is Rabb!

KM #35

I had a sweet surprise frm Rabb this evening. I received his "location" after yoga and only knew that he was actually waiting for me to finish my class. Wonder how long have he waited for me as I did not inform him bout my class timing.
And he nearly went to the wrong yoga studio to look for me. Instead of going to PURE, he nearly landed himself at TRUE. Lucky I was quick to call him.

Anyway, thank you darling!!! Really appreciate these lil sweet actions you had done for me.

KM #34 - Random conversation between DX and his mum

It all started out a randon conversaton over dining table.

DX: Dad, what kinda drinks did you drink during your NS period?! 100plus?
Dad: No..Pepsi Cola.

DX:(Over-reacting!) Wooooohooooooooo!!! COKE ZERO???!!

The above spells his own trouble.
All of us stared at him astonishedly esp his mum.

Mum: Kor kor, how did you know that there is this drink called "Coke Zero"?!

He stunned for awhile.

DX: Errr...... supermarket lorx!
Mum: But it has been a long time since I went to the supermarket with you.
(All of us were breaking out in a cold sweat for him)
DX: Daddy lorx!! Daddy brings me to the supermarket and I will look at the drinks whenever I am at the drinks section.
Mum: But when was the last time did Daddy brought you to the supermarket?!
DX: ermmmm... .... Daddy SELDOM brings me to the supermarket.
- Jaws dropped!!-
Mum; Do you know whats the meaning of "SELDOM"?
DX: Always lorx!!
Me: Kor kor!! You should use the word, "OFTENLY".
DX: Yahh!! Yah!! I goes to the supermarket "OFTENLY" with daddy!

This is the 2nd time he got himself into such trouble, mixing up the meaning of "SELDOM", "USUALLY" & "OFTEN".

KM #33

Since I am soooooooooo much of a "town-girl", Rabb decides that we should go dating @ sub-urban Parkway Parade and have the (his-so-called) famous Apollo Fried Kway Tiao for dinner. Since its highly raved by him(checked from the net, it is indeed famous), I decided to give it a try too. It is different from the usual 1s we eat. Instead of being oily, it is actually wet with SUPER STRONG GARLIC taste.  The quantity of $3 is machiam like $5, I only merely able to finish half a plate, probably is due to the quantity of garlic for me to take it. Even thinking back now, I seriously feel like puking! Alrite, I still prefer the NORMAL TYPICAL TRADITIONAL OILY Fried Kway Tiao.

And it's a small world afterall, actually bumped onto Michelle & family while shopping in PP with darl.

Soon, it will be my our annual Summer Holiday! Rabb and I had a few destinations in mind but well, still unable to decide where we wanna go. Anyway, cant wait to spend my summer holiday with him!!

I realised that I had took nearly 400 pictures thru-out the 2.5 hours long concert till the camera die on me but of course not all are perfectly and well taken. When I finally got the correct mode (abit slow larx, still not used to this canon.), battery already running low.

 But I must say, it was really a very worth-to-watch concert and I am TRULY AMAZED by his 450-degree revolving stage!

 I am glad I had went and I would love to go for his next concert if he come back again!  

His charm is sooooooooooooooo hard to resist!!!!

KM #31 - Mummies' Day Dinner

In order to avoid crowd, we decided to have a early mummies day dinner. Dad choose the location - Somerset 313 and I choose the restaurant. It was a BAD CHOICE!! Outta all, it's only the double-boil soup that satisfy me!

As it claim to be a Cantonese cuisine restaurant, I am expecting the staffs to speak Cantonese too, but they speak Teochew instead. Duhh!! Ok larx..I am just being typical.

Here we go.. ..

The above had costed me $127 which I seriously think is NOT WORTH because the food is only average or even below so-so!

Was grumbling to Rabb about it and he said that probably the food is just not up to my standard. Oh well.. I dunno, but I doubt I will bring him there too.

KM #30

I went for a pedicure session after work which I paid only $18(excl. GST)for classic pedi on a promotion basis and it's super convenient because the nail salon is only located basement of ofc building.
Overall, I am pretty satisfied with their service. Everybody's friendly, comfortable and cozy ambience, most importantly, they uses OPI. What matter mosts to me is actually SERVICE. It really plays a very IMPORTANT ROLE.
But if you are some kinda fcuked-up customer, then just too bad larx. No matter how hard people have tried in their service, it will never satisfy you because you are just being fcuked-up!

Thank god that Rabb came to pick me, because I wore the wrong pair of heels that I had to wear my leopard-preens-ah-lian slipper home.

I think I'm beginning to become a spoilt wifey. Lately, I have not been going home on my own, because Rabb will always be downstairs waiting for me before I can do so. hahaha!! Be it work or even I am out with the girls, he will always make an attempt to pick me wherever I am.

I'm so blessed!

KM #29 - MAYDAY

Rabb always wanted to try Shin Kushin, so he got his wished fulfilled ytd. And because of this meal, I have to eat at hawker centres or food courts for our next dates liaoz. LOL!! The meal had costed him $83. But the past 2 times I went, my bill did not exceed $50 lehh. oOps!! They are specialise in their "Yaki-tori".  Anyway, it's not very fantastic larx, so do not bother trying.

 

After dinner, we had a chill-out session @ Blu Jaz, Bali Lane with Shawn and Fion. It was a lovely evening with them ard, chilling, cuppa and jazz music. We had even planned a list of activites to-do together, hopefully we will get them fulfilled 1-by-1. Looking forward to our ice-cream double date next Saturday.

He's so cute, can!!! He nearly tripped while dancing, but got up immediately with a SUPER CUTE SMILE!!!!!

Each having a cream sauce pasta  + a 7" Chix ham & Mushroom pizza after Hatha!
