I had an (slight) embarrassing moment earlier when I was in the bus on my way home. I literally rest my arm on a guy's knee (which I mistook as the arm-rest) happily.
oOps!

I bet after ET reads this post, she's gonna say that such things will only happen on ME!

I did not do it on purpose what, but still feel kinda pai sey larx cos it actually took me quite awhile to realise that it was his lap that i'm resting on.

KM #74 - Made in Ch*na

While we were having a mini debate if the YOG female table-tennis player (Isabelle Lee)frm Singapore was “Made in Ch*na”, DX had his comments too.

“She is not a toy, how can she be “made in Ch*na?”

That’s not the end; he then turned to his dad and continues.

DX: But Dad....~. She do have a ch*na look!

My uncle<->his dad (pinching and squeezing his chubby cheeks): Yahh! You have a ch*na look too!

DX (with his fave pet phrase): Ok! Fine!

As referred to my previous post, Rabb claims that probably that person is only MERELY asking. I tried to be rational, think and analyse in calm mind but I really cant see that "MERE" intention.

To me, is simple. WHAT IS THERE TO ASK?
I do not believe in "MERELY" asking if you do not have other intention.
And of all the time, why was it only THAT TIME that you MERELY asked?!
Whether was it MERELY asking anot, I can tell the difference.

I know he's just trying to make me feel better and cool but I really just cannot stand such nonsensical people!

Seriously, I am simple!
If you treats me well, I will definitely return you the same treatment - treats you well too.
And if I'm giving you an inch, seriously dun fcuking ask for a ruler frm me!!
 I am sure all human beings are like these.

Who likes to be treated like fcuked?!

If you are purposely trying to "pick bones outta egg", then I am really sorry!

KM #71 - Aftershock

It's the 1st time the 3 of us had movie together and the 1st time I actually had movie with ET despite we had known each other for that long too.
I got them to watch Aftershock with me because Rabb refuses to watch this emo film.

The prelude of the movie was pretty long and serious, so is everybody’s mood in the theatre. ET and I had to stopped eating (we were actually eating our chiffon cake) because it was totally DEAD SILENCE and solemn. We were like, "must so serious mahz?!"

The scenes of the earthquake was breath-taking, I just cannot breathe! It felt so real and machiam the theatre was vibrating.
I came out with swollen eyes despite there are still some light-hearted scene.
As usual, despite how tragic how sad the scenes were, the other 2 always retained their composure and I will be the 1 weeping.
Its natural! Its just very sad...!! Cant help it but still sad and pitiful.. ..
*emo*

Losing of loved ones overnite, making difficult choices and sacrifices, the struggle they face, it is really heart-wrenching and chum enough.
It is a reminder to us of how fortunate and blessed we are that (tentatively) we do not have such natural disasters in Sg (despite floods lately). Neither words can explain such feeling nor we will ever understand till we been thru 1. (But CHOYY larx!! Just stating an example nia.)
See.. .. from the floods lately, it's already been a BIG HOO-HA and ISSUE, so what's about earthquake?! Are we too pampered?!

Back on track... ...
And besides talking about the disaster, it also talks about family matters.
They will always be your family whether you like it or not or no matter whatever had happens. This fact will never change.
And in life, we all ought to learn to forgive and forget.
But I reckon this is the weakness of all human beings bahh.
Ok! At least, it is my weakness too!
I MAY forgive but forgetting... you can forget about it!
Ha!

I think all should watch this movie, there are alot of thots to it, really!!
There are so many thots in my mind that I'm just unable to blog it down.
Treasure and cherish all loved 1s before its too late.

p/s: The 2 ladies sitting inside are SERIOUSLY DAMMN IRRITATING!! I cannot understand why they have to keep walking in and out!! Pls note that we aint short lorx..we have LONG LEGS!!

KM #70 - 1st IPL Treatment

As mentioned, I had done my 1st treatment this evening.

Feelings... ...

NERVOUS!!

UPTIGHT!!

WORRIED!!

Alrite, I'm gonna blog down the whole procedure.

1. 
   
   Brought into the treatment room and got changed into their "treatment" tee.
2. 
   
   Lay down on the bed with arms stretch upwards. (Super tiring till both my arms went numb!)
3. 
   
   Goggles was being put on for me to protect my eyes frm the strong
   (My worries starts... ...)
4. 
   
   Pre-treatment: Underarms was being cleanse, and "touch-up" by shaving.
   (At a part, I was kinda freaked out because I only heard the sound of the shaver, but no feeling. Thots run wild! And the beautician was actually talking to another beautician. Fainted!)
5. 
   
   Specially formulated treatment gel was being applied. It was super icy feeling.
6. 
   
   The treatment starts.
   I only feel slightest warmness and saw instant red lights after each shot. The process takes up less than 3 mins. 
7. 
   
   Aftercare; cooling down - Gel was wiped away and I was given cooling pads because she said there were some redness.
8. 
   
   After 5-10mins of cooling down, moisture was being applied, goggles removed.
   
   And that's the end of the treatment.

I was kinda jittery thru-out the process. Despite her telling me beforehand on what's she going to do, I am still damn nervous, she can tell too. I mean its really scary because you cannot see a thing, and it's only feeling and sounds.

Before she did the "1st shot", I asked if what kinda the feeling will I be expecting?! She said it might be A LITTLE BIT PAINFUL like RUBBER-BAND SHOOT(???!!!).
i drifted in and out of memory trying to recall how does it feels like.
And FYI, rubberband shoot aint A LITTLE BIT PAINFUL lorx!
Ok, it's bullshi*t! I mean maybe this is what some customers have feedback to her bah, but I did not feel that sort at all. It is totally painless!

For those who's going for your 1st IPL, go there with a calm mind.
Every single step proceeding will be made known to u. And you are free to let your worries heard. Should you feel uneasy/discomfort or pain, just let them know.
You are in safe hands.
So just relax... ....

Will be catching a movie tml with my beloved ladies.

KM #68 - Friday the 13th

Who says Friday, 13th is a Black Friday?!

Definitely mine ain't a black 1 because I had 3 happie events!

1st.

I witness the YOG Torch Relay in the morning!!

Its really pretty memorable because you will never know when Sg will be the host again + we are the 1st country to host this event.

Kudos!!

(p/s: The atmosphere was a sad case because there were only the 6 of us when the torch-bearer ran past and neither of us cheered for her.)

2nd.

I had finally went for my long-awaited consultation with Musee Platinum.
 I waited almost like 2 mths for this consultation and its all worth.
The whole consultation process was smooth and comfortable. Once I reached the salon, I was guided to the consultation room to fill up these 4 pages form.

(Like machiam doing test)

The Sales Consultant, Angie (really nice n friendly and totally not pushy at all) explained to me about the whole IPL process and introduced their other packages.

She did not hard sell me on their other big packages as she claimed that all customers should at least TRY OUT 1st before committing to such packages and the salon only specialise in hair removal so there is nothing to sell.

This is their commitment to customers.

I had signed up for the unlimited underarms package and treatment will be done every 2 mths for about 1yr - 1yr+. After 2 years, treatment will be done every 3 months = maintenance. And within this 1 year, if in any way that I ain't satisfied with the treatment, I will be refunded for what I had paid.

Therefore, I will be starting my 1st treatment next Tuesday! Super excited!
FYI, they are now having promo for underarms IPL (which was what I signed for) @ $188 only for UNLIMITED sessions!
Its true.. UNLIMITED + LIFETIME!
LOL!!
This is really the cheapest rate in town that you can get.
She told me that IPL in MP-Japan is as cheap as $20sgd!
OMG! Can you believe it?!

All of us had pastas and a pizza as side.
The evening would be even more pleasant and perfect if there was no live band and if only Derris is ard to join us! (Our chief MIA!)
The live band is simply too loud for the small cafe and we have to literally talk on the top of our voices or dun talk!
Since they were open for song dedication, Darling requested for the famous "Hotel California", and YAH! To our surprise, they said THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SING THIS SONG!
WTF! Go home n slp lorx!!
 Although I also do not know the song well, but I thot this is A-MUST song for live band??!! Boo!!!
And when I made the reservations, they told me that I can only sit for an hour. But haha! We had sat there like since 7ish to 11pm!
 Chase me away IF YOU DARE!

KM #67 - 7 August 2010; Change

From this long wavy-yet-messy-heavy-hair

to

this chic-new-yet-old-look.

It all happened in spilt second.

Before I even realise, my hair was already CHOP with no turning back!

He's really ruthless!! Haha!

Max(the stylist), beloved(s), mummy and aunt commented that I looked fresher/younger compared to that draggy-volumes long hair.

However, Rabb felt that I look like a PLAIN-JANE and some1 who sells "wontan mee". Fainted!

Ok!! Rabb or rather ALL MEN likes female with long hair bah!
Femininity is the word!

Of cos, ET and I too, totally agree that with this new hairstyle, my femininity level drop DRASTICALLY!

LOL!!

I do not know if this was what I wanted or maybe I dun even know what I want.

So perhaps this is the best solution.

Anyway, hair will grow de mahz!

KM #65 - SEA, SAND and (no) SUN

We woke up as early as 530am to catch a train to Tanah Merah ferry terminal and it took us 2hrs and 45mins sea+land journey to reach our ulu resort.

As soon as we checked-in and settle in our room, Mr. Rain came along and “chap zi kah”! Thou it kinda dampen our tanning mood but its alrite because we still have 2 days there mahz.

But who knows… … his party lasted for 2 DAMNN DAYS and only leaving the last day for us to TAN!

TMD!!

There was totally no chance to tan on Day 2. We waited patiently in the room, waiting for glimpse of hope.

But his party just goes on and on.....
And thats not all, I even had to bring a "relative" along. omg!! Do you know how troublesome is this "relative" esp you are going to a beach?! FAINTED!

Know how desperate were Wendy and I on the 3rd day?!
As soon as we wake up at 7am, we washed up and chiong-ed out to tan without having our breakfast.
4 SOLID HOURS of tanning!
SATISFIED!

So how did we spend our time when his party is on.....?

We lead a tai-tai life!

We had spa sessions for all 3 days (it’s cheap and good);

Day 1 – I had 90mins Swedish massage, Wendy did Head/Neck & Shoulder massage + Facial, Aunt had her “slp therapy” in my therapy room.

Day 2 – The 3 of us did foot reflexology by the beach.

Day 3 – Due to time constraint and limited booking @ the Spa centre, the 3 of us did Head/Neck&Shoulder massage.

We watched Fashion TV all day long, all the slim and slender models on the runway with all the glam glam clothing and had seafood for dinner every night!

We intend to go back again, probably 2D1N the next time for spa, water sports and maybe some kite boarding lessons. Apparently, we happened to meet this Singaporean kite-boarding coach whom actually has classes there almost every weekend. His rates are pretty reasonable too. *wink*
