KM #119

I had received the AE Waterfall Ruched Top (today) and it's super sweeeeeeeet & sexayy!
It's really a lovely piece.
Mummy said its "very me".
Glad I made the wise decision in joining the BO because nobody is selling this piece anywhere.
AE will be opening a 2nd BO for it, wonder if should I grab the either of the other 2 colors?!

I'm not a "blue" person but it looks nice too! Pink is sweeeet!
***
Remember I once said I got "slammed" by a fren?!
KM #48 - Simple Living is Luxury
Today she had a (long) talk with me with regards to the SAME O' issue (again) but in a different approach. As much as I really sincerely appreciate the thots she has and her kind intention but not everyone thinks the same.
Maybe you can say that I'm not ambitious or I'm stupid in giving up $$-making opportunity but I will still say the same, "everyone have different perspective in life".

How do you define "ambitious"?!
Or rather define "better lifestyle"?!
Earning lotsa lotsa moolahs, lives in "ang moh chu", carry Chanel 2.55, got Ahmad and whole body "bling bling"?!
So what if you have all that factors but you are not happy with life?

Just an example of what she "slammed" me today again.
She said that I'm SLOGGING LIKE MAD just to earn that lil bit of salary. And she feels that I should do something to have a better lifestyle.
I have to make points clear!

1st.
I'm not slogging and neither I slog!
Why do I have to slog when I love my job? You dont slog if you love your job, rite?!
Since Day 1 till now, I have a love-hate relationship with my job already. As much I dislike it, but I'm still loving it.

2nd.
True lorx.. I only earn lil bit of salary nia. Lil bit dao~~~~~~ that I can only afford to buy a 4-rm HDB flat lorx.
Actually I ish can afford for ang moh chu 1 larx but I'm a true Singaporean so must support and proof my love to my dear country by staying in HDB flat.
The citizens from our neighbouring countries, thou they lives in "ang moh chu" but SOME of them also never rich until where what. oOps!!!
3rd.
What is wrong with my lifestyle?!
I "smelly smelly anyhow" also like leading a better than her bahh?!!
I am seriously happy with my life what because ................................................................"[PERSONAL ATTACK]" I have a wonderful-but-not-that-wonderful hubby. Now my life is not only "I, ME & MYSELF" but is "Rabb & Me", so why do I bother to slog alone?!
Siaoz mehh?!
Everyday I am praying that Rabb will strike rich, so I can stay home and shake legs!

Enough of my lame craps, cannot take it anymore!
Ok!
I remembered during my last yoga therapy, my Yoga Teacher was talking to us about "MINDSET".
All should maintain a positive and balance mindset and attitude in life.
If you tell yourself that you are rich, den you are!

She ever told me the same stuffs too, but guess is a norm that people do not usually practice what they preach. And besides, she cannot compare herself with me because we are different!
Anyway... ...
LEARN TO BE CONTENTED, it's important.

Alrite..... nitez!

Totally loving my glitter-ed nails.
They are actually of the same base glitter but probably lighting effects which makes them look different.
They looked super duper shiny in real.. .. *bling*

KM #115

Green and I had met up with an old friend whom we have never met after since graduation, or maybe I have yet to see her after since we graduated frm ITE. We may not be in close contact all these years but1 thing for sure is that, we will never fail send greetings on birthdays or festive seasons.
That's how we keep this friendship going.. ..

Our initial plan was to have dinner @ Ikea but due to bad weather, we changed it to Tiong Baruh Plaza and decided to have Ramen for dinner followed by yummy desserts @ Dessert Story.
Coincidentally, it was Green and my 2nd time there. Errrr... .. I was too busy talking, so did not really appreciate the ramen. But the Gyoza is yummilicous!

It was a great catch-up session and glad to know that she's happily in love and in plans of getting hitched too.
Congratz in advance.. ..!
Occasionally, it's really nice to meet up with old friends and do some catching up.. ..

Its a happy mid-week because it's PH tml!
Mummy has plans to go shopping but I'm broke.. ... =(
Anyway.. enjoy the PH mid-week!

KM #114 - Sweet Saturdate

Its being sucha long time that Rabb and I had spent long quality time together especially having the 3 meals a day together. It's really rare. We spent it simply nua-ing at his place after my dental appointment in the morning then went Bugis to pak-tor and movie date.
We went to catch DUE DATE too and its fcuking hilarious. Both of us really had a great LAUGH-OUT LOUD time thru-out the movie.
And I think this is the most ever hilarious movie we have watched. I cannot remember watching any other LOL comedy movie together.
Anyway, it's HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to watch, you will not regret!

P/S: I'm a sucker for Japanese magazine and really think I should waste no time in applying for the Kino card.
"Wasted" money in getting this bag for this mini Agnes B tote which comes with a bag-hanger.
I was kinda disappointed with the material of the bag because it's very thin and looks cheapo. But its still alrite to use it as lunch-bag or can use it whenever I go Vivo.
I do have bags specially for Vivo, you know?! Haha!
As I only live nearby, so I'm normally in shorts and tees thus these bags are handy enough and matching enuf to my casual / nua outfit whenever I made trips to Vivo.

 - The protruding red-heart thingy is the bag-hanger. Not sure if it's as steady as the 1 I'm currently using. -

It's a raining Sunday. What a nice weather to just nua at home.. ..
Gonna contiune watching my Fugitive Plan B later.
Have fun.. ..

KM #112 - Diwali Getaway

The whole road trip took 8 hours to reach Melaka from Sg.
We set off at 8am and only reached Melaka @ 4pm. The jam just alone at Msia custom was absolutely absurd. It took the bus about 40 minutes just to get into Msia custom when we were already just bat the foot of the building and 1 hour of human congestion just to get our passport stamped which killed our mood entirely!
Despite the above, mood was resumed immediately after we stepped into our b-e-a-u-tiful sea-view room.

Not only sea view, but we can also see the entire view of Melaka.
Aint its really beautiful at nite?!
I highly recommend all to stay this hotel if you would to visit Melaka because it’s a 5* hotel.
Haha!
No larx…!  It’s because of the convenience you can get.

Shopping
There are a few malls around the area. The nearest 1 which is only just footsteps away is Dataran Pahlawan (DP) Megamall. It has cinemas, Carrefour and fast-food chains like A&W, MacDonald’s and lotsa small shops. It can only link you to another mall – Makhota Shopping Mall.
The view of DP from our room
Makan
Opposite of DP is Tamah Melaka Raya where you can find lotsa eateries esp Nonya cuisine. That’s where we settled our breakfast, lunch and teabreak.
The guy working in the Chicken Rice shop is dammn funny!
Aunt "nearly threw all the rice balls at him" because he keeps correcting the way she eats the rice ball. He keeps repeating and repeating the actual way to APPRECIATE their rice ball. So if you do not know.. just cut the ball into 1/2 and that's it! If you would to mash the rice ball, he might just go crazy!

Highly recommended by Wendy K.!

(Walking distance away from Hotel)
Places of interest
A Famosa Fort
The hallmark of Melaka was built by the Portuguese in 1511 as a fortress and sustained severe structural damage during the Dutch invasion in the early 17th century. The British East India Company had then set to destroy the said fort but timely intervention by Sir Stamford Raffles in 1808 saved what remains of Porta De Santiago or commonly known A Famosa Fort.

It’s something similar to our Fort Canning Park. And it's accessible to Jonker Walk too.

St. Paul's Church
Built by a Portuguese captain, the church was transformed into a burial place for the noble by the Dutch. The church, which was called "Our Lady of The Hill" by the Portuguese, was renamed St. Paul's Church after the Dutch took over Melaka.

Christ Church
If you have a passion for architecture, this Church, built in 1753 is a place not to be missed. When you look closely, you will be able to see the handmade pews and ceiling beams that had been constructed without joints. Other exquisite features include the Brass Bible, a tombstone written in Armenian and the glazed titles of the 'Last Supper'.
Does this river resembles Vernice??
Apparently, Malacca is also called Vernice in the East.

Jonker Walk
Jonker Walk is the most interesting shopping venue in Melaka. The Street contains every imaginable trade, such as spirit importers, hairdressing salons, wooden shoe stores, apothecaries with Chinese herbs on display, sign printers, an acupunture clinic, antiques, boutiques, etc. There are also combinations of craft shops and restaurants, with a Peranakan ambience. You will find treasures such as ornate oil lamps, opium beds, altar stands, old Victorian clocks and early gramophones in antique shops with the said Street.
Generally, its just Pasar Malam which only opens during weekends. So choose the correct days to visit Malacca.
We spent the evening there and managed to conquer the whole street which is super duper long. Spoilt by choices of souvenirs but ended bought nothing except of a super duper sweet and uber comfy Winnie the Pooh cotton blanket @ $29RM (the lady boss is so nice to give me $0.90 of discount!). It’s a steal because I saw the similar 1 @ DP selling at $69.90… I SAVED $40!!
- Aint Winnie cute?? So sweet, rite?! *melts*-

Walk, see and eat is all we did. Go there with empty stomach because there are lotsa foodie awaiting for you from the start of the street till the end. And also lotsa bakeries which have sample-tasting too!
So we brought our Singapore spirit along.. . . FREE TASTING! We keep “tasting” and “tasting” whenever we enter each bakery shop! HAHAHAHA!
After so much of tasting, do not be surprise that you might have already ate 1 whole “Lao Po Bing” for free!
-"Egg" ice-cream which comes in various fruitie flavours. Its A MUST!-

-Foodie is EVERYWHERE!-

We settled our late dinner there too.
I’m surprise to find this Japanese stall which sells cheap and fresh sashimi.

And I finally get to eat “Lok Lok”!!
SHIOK!!!(No pictures because I was busy eating!)

Back to the hotel, is eating again!
Why all the more you should stay in that hotel is because each room/nite will be given $88rm credit to be spend within the hotel on F&B and unspent credit will be refunded at 50% in cash upon check-out. And since we are there only for 1 night, we decided to use it on ROOM SERVICE.

Wanna make a guess how much does the room service food cost?!
.
.
.
.
.
.
 The total amt was $175.90rm!
LOL!!! Never knew we are so accurate!

KM #110 - Brozeit

The long-weekends-Thursday evening was lovely because I had a wonderful dinner @ Brozeit with cheap good beer and delicious yummilicious food with ET & Feli! It was my 3rd and ET's 2nd visit but the food and beer never fail us, esp the sausages.
Yummy to the max!!!
Really wanna bring Rabb there someday, but he's not into sausages.
We tried something new today.. FRIED FISH FILLETS.
SURPRISINGLY, it was equally delicious too!
I was expecting it to taste like those frozen kinds which can be purchased from supermarket but we were UTTERLY wrong!
Gonna order that the next time. Or maybe I think we will just try everything from the menu. Who knows.. probably the next time round I might TRY to try the pork knuckle?!
ET will be super happy upon reading this because I know she's been wanting to try the pork knuckle!

p/s: Pls prepare tissues to prevent excessive drooling~

The total damage for the day:

If only Greenie made it to join us.. ..
=(

Oh dear!!
It's going to be 1am soon.
I gotta wake up @ 530 later as I got a bus to catch.
Will be off to Malacca with family for a 2 day trip and will be back on Saturday late noon. Yahh.. know it's kinda super duper short and rush trip but it's better than staying in Sg doing nothing and I got a team and family BBQ @ manager's house on Saturday evening too.
Mad rush and tire!
Enough said.. ..
Sweet dream, people!
Have an enjoyable and relaxing long weekends!

xoxo
