I have found my new "love" while Rain goes for his National Service for 2 years.... Haha!
I got hooked onto them by this Korean variety show - Hello Baby, Shinee!
Basically it is just about them playing a role as a "Dad" to take care and look after this toddler Yooguen for about 3 months. It is a pretty heartwarming program, seeing the 5 big boys taking turns to hug that lil boy telling him how much they love him as a "dad".

KM #198 - Summer Escapade; 26th & 27th July 2011

Level of “sian-ess” is rising because its 48hours away to reality.

The idea of extending the trip floats into our mind but the thot of the price-to-pay for changing the air-tix, we decided to be good and come back.

We had Mac for breaky b/4 setting off to Taipei Main Station for Taipei Storyland. To our dismay, the museum has already closed for good, so we went over to Xin Guang San Yue for Porter and Jill Stuart since its still way to early to go to Dan Shui.

Well, it was a wrong timing as they just opened their doors for biz and since it’s a Japanese shopping departmental store, they actually also follows Japan culture in having the morning greeting thingy in the whole store. And Rabb got super uneasy with it, so we have to chop chop and zoom up to the Porter level. Haishh… … so chamm! oOps!

Anyway, din stay long in the departmental store too, so we came home w/ regrets for not getting the porter bag. =((

Remember our motto for this trip – “Follow the crowd”???!
Ok.. .. it was a huge mistake!!
Dan Shui / Tam Shui Old Street is actually just on the left hand-side of the station (along the coast) but clever us decided to follow the crowd and we did landed in Dan Shui but STREETS!! We constantly asked ard how to get to "Ah Po Tie Dan” and all point to the same direction, but we crossed streets after streets and even went uphill and downhill.. ..still see no thing. Interestingly, this Ah Ma can somemore ask us how to get to the library?!

Cold Stone (again x ??)

We went back to our room to have a quick wash up and left for Shida to chiong last min shopping and then back to Shilin for foodie and also bid goodbye to Xiao Yang and Ah Jie店长 whom we got to know on 1st nite.

Xiao Yang is really a nice guy. Imagine how nice he can be? We only got acquainted with him for a few days and he actually said that he cant bear to bid goodbye and those words does not sound plastic at all. Both of us are seriously touched by his sincerity. Of cos thanks to 脸书, we can still keep in touch.  And we also promised him that should he ever come to Singapore some days, we will bring him to eat Nasi Lemak.

Goodbye Shilin NM.. .. ~

 Back @ XMD, I wanted to get the "Hong Shao Rou" bowl noodles frm 7, but the staff actually told us to get them frm 家乐福 as its much cheaper. So nice, rite??!! And I remember reading that theres a 24hr outlet, so after putting down our stuffs back in the room, we went out again.

130am in a foreign country - walking to 家乐福.

His last instant beef rice frm 7.

Its a daily thingy like me having Cold Stone daily too.

HOME SWEET HOME DAY

SUPER OVERSLEPT!!!

We only jumped outta bed at freaking 1130 am..

30 mins away frm check-out!!

Super freaked out.. .. lucky we already packed our luggage the nite b/4.

The only itinerary that day was Modern Toilet.

 

Mummy got super disgusted upon seeing the food in toilet bowl and drinks in urinal.

I even top-up $$ to bring back the urinal. LOL!!!

Last dosage of Cold Stone.

The Taxi-uncle whom brought us ard.

Its really time to go home.. ..

Day 3 - Road trip day.

We spent the day at Places of Interests. Initially we already did all the homework about getting from places to places but in the end, we still resigned in booking a cab and bring us around instead.

All I can said is we made the right choice!!

The day begin with a perfect weather for "excursions".

Tasted sooooo damm much better than Hotel.

1st Stop: YEHLIU GEOPARK

Believe it or not?! We pay NT $50 just for this head and we left the park!

There are actually more of such rocks but the Sun came out suddenly and we seriously cannot take the weather + lotsa Ah Tiongs inside too!! 

The taxi-uncle was kinda surprised too, how come we were out so fast. Haha! We blame it on the weather. oOps!

2nd Stop: 九份

Its a very nice place with beautiful scenery and lotsa 小吃.

 Look at the crowd.

 That's the end of our excursion trip but not end of the day.
We went to check out 師大路夜市 which was introduce/recommended by the uncle. He said this NM has been becoming very overwhelming and upcoming these few years.
It is becoming 1 of those MUST-GO night markets.

And he is rite!! I super <3 this night market because it is super hip.
It is like machiam Haji Lane w/ roadside stalls. What do you think?! Cool, rite?? I mean if you like Haji Lane, you will like this too.
I shopped almost like crazy over there cos there are lotsa nice clothes but of cos... I m not an impulsive buyer larx. Just see see, I'm also satisfy.
But food wise abit.. .. so-so nia, so we NM-HOP to Shilin for food.
